Philip K.O. Kunjappy (Chairman)
Philip, a Malaysian was appointed to the Board on 8 March 2011. He joined Sime Darby Berhad as Executive Vice President of Group Corporate Services on 1 October 2010. He is responsible for managing the legal, procurement and sustainability quality management functions as well as the commodity trading and marketing activities including the non-core business operations of the Group. He began his career with Attlee, Edge & Lambert in Birmingham, UK and subsequently joined Price Waterhouse, Kuala Lumpur in 1983. He also served as Finance Manager in Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd, Finance Director in Island & Peninsular Bhd and Senior Executive Director, Oils & Fats Subsidiaries in Felda Holdings Bhd prior to joining the Sime Darby Berhad Group on 1 October 2010. Philip is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Taxation.

Alan Hamzah Sendut
Alan Hamzah, a Malaysian was appointed to the Board on 8 March 2011. He is the Group Head - Strategy & Business Development of Sime Darby Berhad. He oversees the Corporate Finance, Value Management & Investor Relations, Corporate Planning & Budgeting, Capital Management, Merger & Acquisition and Special Projects departments. Alan began his career with Price Waterhouse, London and had worked with several multinational companies in Malaysia before joining Kumpulan Sime Darby Berhad (KSDB) in 1996. He has held various senior financial positions within the KSDB Group, amongst them Finance Director of Tractors Malaysia Holdings Berhad and Finance Director of Consolidated Plantations Berhad. He was the Global Operations Manager, Payment Services for BHP Billiton Malaysia prior to his present appointment. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accountancy and Computer Science from the University of Wales, United Kingdom. He is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) by profession and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Che Ibrahim Che Idris
En Che Ibrahim, a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board on 17 April 2006. He graduated with Bachelor of Economics from University of Malaya in 1976, is a Fellow of Chartered Insurance Institute London and holds an MBA from University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He joined Kumpulan Sime Darby Berhad (formerly known as Sime Darby Berhad) as Regional Director – Insurance in January 2006 and is responsible for the development of insurance broking and agency operations in the Group. En Che Ibrahim was Chief Executive Officer of several insurance firms in life, general and broking services with over 30 years of working experience in local and international insurance and reinsurance market.

Abdul Aziz Zainal Abidin
Abdul Aziz has over 25 years of experience in the Malaysian insurance and reinsurance industry and has held various senior positions at various companies, including Tokio Marine and Fire Insurance, the Pernas group (insurance broking – retail and reinsurance) and Asia Capital Reinsurance Malaysia (reinsurer) - Khazanah link company.
