Dato' Jeffri Salim Davidson (Chairman)
Dato' Jeffri, is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Berhad. He was appointed as the Chairman of Sime Darby Lockton Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd on 24 November 2017.Dato' Jeffri began his career with Coopers & Lybrand, London, United Kingdom in 1986.
He joined Sime Darby Berhad (Sime Darby) in 1992 as an Accountant and has held various senior finance roles until 1996 including as the Senior Vice President, China, Singapore & Power Systems, Industrial Division from 2014 to 2016 before he assumed the role as the Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer of Sime Darby in 2016.
He has also served various senior finance roles in NS Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd, Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad and Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd. Dato' Jeffri sits on the Board of Kumpulan Sime Darby Berhad, Sime Darby Holdings Berhad, Sime Darby Malaysia Berhad and several other private limited companies under the Sime Darby Group.
Dato' Jeffri obtained his Bachelor of Science in Geology from University College London, United Kingdom in 1986. He is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He attended the Advanced Management Programme at the Harvard Management School in 2009.
Datuk Thomas Leong Yew Hong
Datuk Thomas, is currently the Group Chief Strategy Officer of Sime Darby Berhad. He was appointed as the Board member of Sime Darby Lockton Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd on 24 November 2017. Datuk Thomas is responsible for Sime Darby Berhad’s overall strategy, mergers and acquisitions, business development, corporate finance and investor relations, as well as the Group’s communications and technology functions. Datuk Thomas joined the Sime Darby Group as the Head of Group Strategy and Corporate Finance in 2016. He was previously the Executive Vice President and the Head of Maybank Group’s Strategy and Business Development. Datuk Thomas also held senior positions as a management consultant in Accenture and Deloitte Consulting, based in Australia, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Datuk Thomas is a Director of Sime Darby Eastern International Limited, Tesco Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare Sdn Bhd, Weifang Sime Darby Port Co Limited and various private limited companies under the Sime Darby Group.
Datuk Thomas holds a BSc in Software Engineering from Australian National University, and an MBA (International Corporate Finance) from University of Sydney and has sat on various panels for mentorship programmes and Fintech start-ups.
Mustamir, is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer of Sime Darby Berhad. His current responsibilities include finance, treasury, tax, legal, compliance and risk management. Mustamir began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, London in 1995, managing audit clients in the Oil & Gas sector. He returned to Malaysia in 1999 and joined the Banking Supervision Department in Bank Negara Malaysia. He left Bank Negara Malaysia in 2005 as Manager of Investment Operations and Financial Markets, where he was responsible for monetary policy implementation including interest rate and liquidity management in the domestic money market. Mustamir was previously the Head of Group Finance for Sime Darby Berhad from February 2014 to November 2017 where he was responsible for Group financial reporting, treasury management and budgeting. Prior to that, he led the strategy and business development function in Sime Darby Plantation, where his responsibilities include strategy formulation, investment evaluation and mergers & acquisition for the company.
Mustamir holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Warren, is currently the Executive Manager, Deputy Chairman at Lockton Companies Australia. He was appointed as the Board member of Sime Darby Lockton Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd on 1 October 2018. Warren has over 31 years’ experience in the insurance industry, predominantly as a broker and advisor. He has global experience having worked in the Australian, Asian and UK markets in Senior Advising capacities. Most recently, before joining Lockton Australia, Warren was the head of the Asia Region for Jardine and Lloyd Thompson (JLT). His experience and knowledge on alternative risk transfer strategies is extensive and has delivered innovative, cost saving, finance efficient results for many of the largest organizations in Australia and Asia.
Warren holds a Diploma in Financial Service (Insurance Broking), Senior Associate ( the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB).
Mohamed Yahya Mohamed Ibrahim
Yahya has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. He has held various senior positions in major international and local insurance brokers with a demonstrated history of managing and delivering solutions for insurance and risk management programs for a broad variety of industry sectors which amongst others include power, oil & gas, petrochemical, construction, property, telecommunication, maritime, aviation and aerospace. Skilled in insurance, reinsurance and marketing, he has managed some of the largest Malaysian corporate insurance and risk management programs.
Yahya has an Associate Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) qualification awarded by The Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom.
