Sime Darby Berhad via Sime Malaysia Region Berhad owns 60% of Sime Darby Lockton Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd.

Sime Darby is a Malaysia-based diversified multinational and the world's largest plantation company with operations in over 20 countries. It is involved in plantations, property, motors, industrial equipment, energy and utilities, and healthcare amongst others.

In November 2007, Sime Darby merged with two other Malaysian plantations giants - Golden Hope Plantations and Kumpulan Guthrie - creating a new organisation with market capitalisation of approximately RM54.08bn (US15.95bn) as of 19 November 2009.
